For anyone who is unaware, I have been writing film screenplays since I was fifteen years old. Seriously.
I have conceived around twenty-seven different films over the past ten years. I completed about ten of them, and abandoned the rest of them in the early treatment stages or about twenty pages in. Only five of those screenplays that were fully completed still exist. Only four of those do I actually take credit for, the fifth is disowned. Hypothycra, you dirty little bitch.
In 2005, I began to try and build upon my screen-writing "abilities" and work on a larger scale. So I decided to take an aborted idea for a three-part film trilogy about zombies called A New Dawn Rises and stretch it out into a television series.
The series is now called Lenexa. Three seasons of ideas have been planned out. Thirteen hour-long episodes per season, HBO-style. Sadly, only the pilot episode "Snibe" is completed. As far as you all know.
When beginning to delve into Lenexa, I started to get an idea for a second TV series. A shorter 25-minute sitcom.
This series is called Cine/Files. Strangely enough, but not so much, both shows take place at movie theatres. It's not as if I have worked in the theatre biz since 1998. (the same year I began writing...hmmm... interesting) Yet, the premise for each show is completely different.
Both of these pilots are now available for download on this blog. Just look to your left.
Enjoy.

Hello,
I was wondering if you could recommend a book or online resourse to use as a guideline for writing a treatment for a tv pilot?
Thanks,
SA
