All in Time With Wicked Rhyme

I figured it was about time to start one true and final "blog." I despise using internet colloquialisms. Rather, I despise damn near anything in a colloquial sense that I wasn't part of the inception of. "Blog"? Even that is a shortened version of what it truly means. Short for "web log". Ridiculous. It is now in the dictionary. Sad times we live in.

Like most cats I have ventured from place to place, trying to stay up-to-date with the hippest and coolest internet journalizing-whatever site. Live Journal to Xanga (xangay) to Myspace, to Facebook.

I still have admiration for Xanga, being that it actually allowed people to um.. ya know.. shit, what's it called... oh right, WRITE!

Myspace sold out fast and now it is nothing more than shitty unsigned bands trying to get people to listen to their shitty songs so they can pull in some cougar tang. Either that or it is huge corporate bands, slummin', trying to let their "fans" know that they too are just normal people and are hip to what's going on.

Facebook was nice in the beginning, rather quaint really. It too, however, and sadly, is slowly getting pimped out by applications and corporations.

It's not about the craft of writing anymore. It's about how many friends you have, whose cock is longer, whose is thicker, it's a bunch of mundane excreta.

Now about this site. I don't know. I would stay with Xanga, but the one thing I have always wanted is a static page. A page where I could have links to other sites and links to where my books are available to be purchased. Xanga didn't have that function, but this blog does allow it.

If you look to the bottom left of this main page, you will see an almost complete list of all of the various books of poetry I have written. Below those you will see links to books written by friends of mine that I helped edit and design. As I write this now, those links are not there. They will be, one day.

Like all "blogs" this will just be, hopefully a tool used mainly for myself. Used to help document my trivial life and perhaps get the word out about my books and such things.

If you know me, then this is just another outlet for me to go on bloated diatribes about how much I hate pop culture and ignorance. If you don't know me, and are coming into this early, click on the links to my poetry Xanga, and my old regular Xanga. Get a taste of what it is I do.

If you like it fine, if not, well... yeah.
